At a time when charities have never been more needed, CCC is delighted to have been allocated funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by the National Lottery Community Fund.
The funding will enable CCC to provide counselling services to 70 people in need of support. This is a fantastic opportunity and testament to the charity. We are grateful for everyone's support to CCC during the pandemic and beyond.
CCC continues to provide counselling services to individuals, NHS, charities, businesses and their staff during the Coronavirus crisis
CCC is providing remote counselling support via telephone and video link despite the limitations imposed on face to face contact as of 23rd March 2020. Thanks to our dedicated team of qualified counsellors, counselling services continue to anyone who needs support during these unprecedented times.
CCC is here for you, in your time of need and is proud to be offering support to NHS staff and other key workers.
If you would like to speak to a counselling professional, leave your contact details with your nearest reception.

March 2019 - CCC becomes a Charitable Incorporated Organisation
This new status allows CCC to remain a registered charity but provides the members and trustees with the full legal protection of being incorporated, ensuring the correct organisation governance and regulation is in place and make the organisation and not individuals responsible for any liabilities arising from contracts, employment or legal action. Many charities are taking these steps as the demands and responsibilities of holding charitable status become increasingly complex and it becomes more difficult to find trustees willing to accept any potential liabilities.
Will CCC still work towards its charitable aims?
Absolutely! Only the legal status of the charity and the charity registration number are changing. CCC is still committed to providing low cost counselling to those in need in the local community who would otherwise be unable to access support. CCC will still raise the funds to be able to do this by providing other mental health support services to organisations on a paid basis.
What will this mean to CCC clients?
It won't make any noticeable change, apart from the new charity registration number on our documentation. The name of the charity remains Cambridgeshire Consultancy in Counselling but the charity number changes from 1053794 to 1181861. CCC will still ensure a high quality of service and remains an organisational member of BACP, complying with and exceeding its requirements for quality counselling and codes of ethics.
Will I get a new contract and leaflets?
A new contract will be issued to current organisational clients. All terms and conditions will be exactly as per the previous contract but the registered charity number will have changed. Please sign and return this as soon as possible to continue receiving counselling and other services. In order to make the best use of funds, we will use our existing stock of promotional literature before reprinting with the new charity number but all new documents will have the correct number on them.
Thank you for continuing to support CCC.
As of Jan 2019, the St Ives telephone number is no longer be operational. We still have counsellors based in this area but please call your nearest branch to access them.
